Dog Licensing
All dogs over 6 months of age are required by State of Maine law to be licensed.
Dog License fees:
Spayed or Neutered $6.00
Unaltered $11.00
Current proof of rabies vaccine is required for all dogs.
If you are using the link to the online dog registrations and you are registering a new dog, you must send the Town Clerk the rabies certificate and the spay or neutered certificate if not noted on rabies certificate. We cannot process tags until we received correct paperwork. It is your responsibility to update the information for any dog you are registering with the Town Clerk.
A state imposed late fee of $25.00 will be charged starting February 1st
If you no longer own your dog, have moved, or if your dog has passed; please contact the Newfield Town Office at 207-793-4348.
